From PRAGUE TO ČESKÝ KRUMLOV – DAY TRIP – SMALL GROUP Begin your tour with convenient pickup at your city center accommodation. Then, relax in air-conditioned comfortable car (people carrier) as you drive for around 2 hours to Český Krumlov, taking in views of the Czech countryside on the way. One of Europe's prettiest towns, Cesky Krumlov is a living gallery of elegant Renaissance-era buildings housing charming cafes, pubs, restaurants, shops, and galleries. It is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1992. The town has been bustling since medieval times, and the historical center is exquisitely preserved. Then, march off to Krumlov Castle for a taste of the Renaissance. Krumlov Castle is the second biggest in Bohemia, after Prague Castle. This jewel attracts visitors from all over the world. (The castle is closed from 31st October - 21st March; but you can still climb to the tower and see historical exhibition onsite except Mondays). Later, dine at one of the local pubs or restaurants for lunch, where you can enjoy the local food and drinks. Explore Cesky Krumlov with the convenience of a professional driver-guide, you will get the highlights of the town, local culture, and history. You can explore at your own pace, saving time for souvenir shopping if you wish. If you are finished early, you also have the option of adding the nearby town of Ceske Budejovice or Hluboka castle to your tour. If there are fewer than 3 participants, the tour may be canceled. All participants will be informed in advance.
